- Butter Tarts

- Pastry for 12 tarts
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cream
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

- Prepare pastry and line tart tins. Mix remaining ingredients. Fill tarts
- 2/3 full. Bake at 450 degrees F for eight minutes. Reduce oven to 325
- degrees F. and bake 20 minutes longer until pastry is lightly browned.
